Moreover, we have refined a way of teaching these practices virtually (through Webinars, e-mail and conference calls) that has a high success rate, even for people who have wanted to adopt a “meditative practice” but have never known how to start, or sustain something more than a couple of weeks.
The Alpha-i Process
The basic practice is a combination of simple posture, breathing and mental exercises specifically tailored for busy professionals. Participants
• Are introduced to the fundamentals in a live 4 hour kick off session
• Make a commitment to practice each day for 5, 10 or 20 minutes
• Get ongoing email support around specific issues as they arise
• Participate in a weekly group call
• Learn from peer experiences
Alpha-i meditation practices are well suited for health and technology professionals, entrepreneurs, managers, consultants and executives who benefit from reducing stress and increasing effectiveness in decision making, interpersonal relations, and navigating the challenges of a demanding schedule. We offer 1-1 sessions for individuals as well as a group-based approach with a community of peers to increase communication effectiveness and facilitate teamwork.
