Thank you for your comments. I agree! So many people are looking for external answers when it is an inside game. We are participating in the evolution of this species as each of us individually participates with intention in recognizing we have power to create our reality through our own conscious awareness. One by one each flame can ignite another. Thank you!

Thoughts on your question of "Is sustainability enough?"

I believe with all my heart that sustainability would be stopping short of the magnificent capacity available to us as individuals, for Earth and for the Universe of which we are a part – to EXPAND.

Find Your Joy¸ Your Happiness
What is more I believe you and I finding our joy, our happiness, our bliss IS where we begin our search for the answers to ALL that impedes us from sustainability, even expandability - of our selves, our race, our Earth, and the vast realm of multiverses in existence that we can’t even comprehend.

You and I, Building Blocks
You and I are the basic building blocks of the answer to the worthy though antiquated in what it considers possible or critical question of “How do we ensure Earth’s sustainability?” While we can support, rail against or try to insist evolution occur within esteemed and diabolical corporate giants, effective and ineffective domestic and international political systems, as well as non-profits and NGO’s doing great work in every corner of our Earth – these organizations are made up of individuals like you and I.

The work of ensuring global sustainability or expansion of universal consciousness or any other worthy goal must begin right here with you and I.

Begin By Finding Joy and Happiness
The wonderful challenges we as a human race face require us to individually expand our brain capacity. And by that I mean increase the percentage and balance of neurotransmitters firing to connect and deliver information to our brain’s neurons where we can act on it in the physical world. I believe the key to expanding our brains, increasing the amount and capacity of neurotransmitters doing their thing for us, is to bring ourselves as often as we can to a state of joy and happiness. It is from this state, this very personal, individual space of joy and happiness that we are able to access an infinite well of abiding love, inspiration, and creativity. This is the well from which you, I and all of humanity will create the puzzle pieces necessary to achieve individual and global sustainability - and so much more.

To Find Joy, We Need To Know Its Reflection, Sadness
As we do the inner work required for brain expansion, attend that “Inner-University” – we discover how to bring ourselves from pain, grief, and conflict back to joy, peace and love over and over again. This experience of life is how we develop the spiritual, mental, and emotional muscle to support our individual and unique piece of this energy matrix of which the entire Universe is made.

At Varied Pace, We Are All Evolving From Duality to Unity
Individuals all over the earth are at different points in the growth of their personal consciousness, so some approach this learning less consciously than others. Either way – change and evolution is occurring at each human’s individual and humanity’s collective soul level. I believe all of us experience the vast spectrum between pain and joy, grief and happiness, conflict and cooperation so we can understand duality in our very beings, our very cells. It is this knowing that will bring the human race (one by one) to the realization that we must evolve into knowing and embodying the concept of unity, specifically, the truth that we are all one and one-is-all.

This journey we are each on leads us to a place where we can ground ourselves and every interaction we have in the critical awareness that: we are each an integral part of the natural systems of this universe - what hurts the earth, the atmosphere, or my enemy also damages me profoundly; and, we desire to consistently, constantly choose cooperation over conflict, from the internal thought conversations we have with ourselves to every conversation and action we engage in externally.

When I Open the Box of Joy, I Find the Space to Plant my Authentic Self and Bloom
As we individually become aware of and develop the pathways that bring us to a state of joy, we discover the most easy, inspired, creative ways to expand our own brain capacity.

Truly what gives us joy is the fertile ground in which we successfully plant the seed of who we are in our most inspired and authentic selves. When we plant ourselves in joy, in the things that inspire us - we grow and bloom into the fullness of all we were meant to be, to create, to affect. We don’t have to move any corporation, political system or world leadership to save the world. Our part is simply to find joy, plant the wondrous seed of our authentic selves there, and bloom into the essence that seed holds within.

The Tipping Point - From Individual to Collective Awareness
Here is one more thing I believe. As this evolution in brain capacity occurs, (the evolution that began with each of us discovering and pursuing whatever pathway brings us to a state of joy and happiness) it will yield a personal awareness in progressively higher numbers of individuals of the critical role choosing cooperation over conflict plays in the universe. And as the number of individuals arrive and begin to move from that awareness, I believe there will be a tipping point where collective awareness and consciousness is expanded. It is at this point that the human race will exercise its expanded collective consciousness to act in a collective way, choosing to function as an integral part of the natural systems of the universe – knowing that what hurts any other part of this universe hurts the collective human race, and we will collectively choose cooperation over conflict in everything from our individual internal thought conversation, as well as to every universal action and interaction in which we engage.

Thank you for the question because it helped me articulate something to myself that provides the base of a topic I am very passionate about:)

I love how you incorporated mindfulness meditation in the business world. Indeed everything (including the success of the business you are currently involved in) starts by having control of what goes on inside our own heads. By being able to understand how our mind works and how it affects our day to day living, we allow ourselves to be inside our own minds, making us understand how we think.

This does sound evolutionary - we are free to navigate our interior with intention - not necessarily subject to the random emotional responses that get automatically triggered based on some behavioral programming that occurred before we had choice. That is exciting!
