Alpha-i Meditation

Alpha-i Meditation is created specifically to empower you with insight and influence into the workings of your own body and mind. You will learn how hormones and other bio-chemicals within your body regulate your nervous system and affect your brain waves, emotions, feelings of acute stress and sense of well-being.

Each week we will focus on a specific practice that builds over time. Weekly calls will be held to reinforce support for your practice. Do not underestimate the power of making a commitment with a group of peers. Peer to peer communication is one of the most powerful and effective means for establishing a consistent, sustainable practice.

Two Four Week Segments

Focused Awareness is an introduction to mindfulness and meditation using a variety of simple focus exercises that can be practiced anywhere. Over the course of these four weeks, you will explore different types of practices and discover which works best for you. And you will begin to acquire skills that can regulate the nervous system, slow down a racing mind and increase the capacity to focus. We will make available simple, short, guided practices by mp3 to aid you in developing this skill.

Mindfulness Meditation is designed to help you establish a daily meditation practice. You will learn simple posture, breathing and mental exercises that activate the natural mechanism in the body that can regulate the nervous system and reduces stress. Over the course of these four weeks, your body and mind will begin to adjust; you will be more present in every aspect of your life. You will learn to easily recognize and access the alpha state. You will join many of our students who experience deep states of peace, improved relationships and increased capacity for focus and creativity

Alpha-i Meditation Course Format

Aligned Intelligence Meditation is presented in weekly 1 hour sessions. The entire course is  8 weeks however it can be taken in 4 week increments in the order which suits your needs. It is designed to help you establish your personal daily practice. Each session is offered as a teleconference so you can sit in the privacy of your own space, enhancing your ability to focus. We encourage you to use a headset for your phone and to turn off all other electronic devices for the best results.

Attendance will be limited to provide the maximum benefit for those involved.
